AUGUSTIN HADELICH MAKES BOURNEMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA DEBUT
Following his acclaimed UK orchestral debut in February 2013 with the BBC Philharmonic under the baton of Yan Pascal Tortelier, Augustin Hadelich reunites with the conductor for his debut with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO). He’ll perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto on 4 December, in the BSO’s home venue, the Lighthouse in Poole, and on 5 December in Portsmouth’s Guildhall. Winter Words: Songs by Benjamin Britten
Winter Words is the solo debut release by American tenor Nicholas Phan. The recording was made in the wake of a recital tour in 2010-11 which culminated in his Carnegie debut at Weill Hall. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and an alumnus of the Houston Grand Opera studio Nick has performed with the opera companies of Los Angeles and Seattle, symphony orchestras of Atlanta, St. Louis and San Francisco, and the Marlboro, Ravinia and Edinburgh Festivals, among others.
