New York Philharmonic

Founded in 1842, the New York Philharmonic is the oldest symphony orchestra in the United States and one of the oldest in the world.

Alan Gilbert began his tenure as Music Director in September 2009, and in January-February 2010 led the orchestra on a European tour that encompassed Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid, Zurich, Frankfurt, Cologne, Paris and London.

MusicCo provided strategic media consul to the New York Philharmonic for the orchestra's first UK appearances with Music Director Alan Gilbert at the Barbican Centre, February 2010, resulting in features in the Guardian, The Times, BBC Music Magazine, BBC Radio 3's Music Matters and wide-spread review coverage.
